This online course is designed to guide participants through an internship in which successful demonstration of the Texas Performance Standards are required. Topics explored in this course will include professional roles and responsibilities for beginning teachers, processes for building reflective practices, implementation of instructional strategies, and professional growth.  

The CERTification at Region 10 Program is a state-accredited alternative certification program that provides an opportunity for qualified individuals to gain Texas teacher certification. This course is a component of the CERTification Program requirements.
