This online course introduces participants to Texas Teacher Certification, TEA Ethical Conduct Standards, Educator’s Code of Ethics, program guidelines, and an overview of coursework requirements. This course will also assist participants with successfully navigating courses, explaining the course registration process, and providing pertinent information regarding the program.  

The CERTification at Region 10 Program is a state-accredited alternative certification program that allows qualified individuals to gain Texas teacher certification. This course is a component of the Certification Program requirements.
