This online is designed for participants to explore and understand content specific TEKS and to become familiar with instructional methods and strategies based on best practices. Participants will examine and understand concepts/themes in math, science, social studies, fine arts, physical education, and health for any EC-6 classroom setting.

The CERTification at Region 10 Program is a state-accredited alternative certification program that provides an opportunity for qualified individuals to gain Texas teacher certification. This course is a component of the CERTification Program requirements.
