Instructional Methods and Strategies Part A: Reading and Writing Across the Curriculum for Secondary

This blended course is designed for participants to explore and understand content specific TEKS and to become familiar with instructional methods and strategies based in best practices. Participants will understand the rationale and importance for the inclusion of reading and writing strategies for all students in both language arts classrooms and in cross-curricular settings.

The CERTification at Region 10 Program is a state-accredited alternative certification program that provides an opportunity for qualified individuals to gain Texas teacher certification. This course is a component of the CERTification Program requirements.
